MANAGEMENT

 

The Transport Authority is governed by a Board appointed by the Minister. The Board consists of two to four appointed members one of whom is Chairman. There are also five ex-officio members as follows:

  1. Solicitor General, or nominee;
  2. Commissioner of Police, or nominee;
  3. Permanent Secretary Ministry of Housing, Transport, Water and Works, or nominee
  4. Managing Director
  5. Chief Executive Officer

The Chief Executive of the Authority is a Managing Director, appointed by the Board in consultation with the Ministry.

 

The operations of the Authority falls under nine departments:

  1. Research and Statistics
  2. Finance and Planning
  3. Internal Audit
  4. Corprate and Legal Services
  5. Communication and Customer Services
  6. Human Resource and Administration
  7. Operations
  8. Information Technology
  9. Licensing
